Continuing Education for Orthodontic and Dental Teams

After more than two decades inside Canadian orthodontic and dental practices, we built this curriculum around the work teams actually do. Four areas of focus: Canadian orthodontic insurance, treatment coordinator skill, digital workflows, and team leadership. Every course is shaped by what we have watched succeed, and by what quietly costs practices money and momentum.

The first courses center on Canadian orthodontic insurance: a delivered live webinar, an upcoming live session, and a foundational course launching in October. Courses across the other three areas are in active development. If something below is not yet open, leave your email and we will let you know when it is.

The 3R Methodology in Course Design

How the Curriculum is Built

Every course follows the same three-level progression that anchors our consulting work. Reflect builds the awareness. Rectify builds the skill. Redesign produces ownership and a setup that fits your practice. As courses launch inside each area, you will see this arc mapped from foundations to advanced, practice-specific work.

Level 01

Reflect · Foundations

Theory, language, and the diagnostic eye. The place to start for anyone new to the area.

Level 02

Rectify · Core

Application and skill-building, with coaching to move the learning into the daily rhythm of the practice.

Level 03

Redesign · Accelerated

Customization, execution, and systems for teams ready to run the work at the highest level.

You will learn how to verify benefits, manage pre-determinations, read common plan structures, cut down claim errors, and walk patients and families through their financial responsibility clearly and respectfully.

The course leans on real cases and the situations teams actually face. The goal is steadier workflows, fewer second emails, and a calmer treatment acceptance process. Everything taught is meant to be used in the practice the following week.

The YES Method Foundations: Communication and Case Acceptance for Orthodontic Treatment Coordinators

Overview

The YES Method Foundations™ introduces orthodontic treatment coordinators to a clear, repeatable approach to the consult conversation. Digital Edge

Digital Edge

Digital tools change a practice only when the team uses them well. This pillar is about the workflow and the language that turn intraoral scanners, outcome simulators, virtual care, and digital patient communication into consults that land and visits that run smoothly. Foundational sessions, plus a multi-module program on the harder workflow questions that surface when new tools meet long-standing routines.

Digital Edge: Integrating Digital Workflow Tools into Patient Communication for Orthodontic Teams

Overview

Digital Edge helps orthodontic teams use digital tools the way they were meant to be used: to help the patient understand more, decide sooner, and feel confident in the recommendation. Intraoral scanning, outcome simulation, digital imaging, and platform-based documentation are covered with an eye on what the team actually does with the output.

Six modules, two hours each, focused on cleaner handoffs, stronger patient education, and team confidence with the technology. Real cases, practical work, and ideas you can put in place the same week.

The Leadership Engine

The Leadership Engine

Leadership for the Dental Team

Leadership is not a title. It is the accountability, the daily communication, and the shared ownership that make a practice consistent and growable. Courses begin with team-based new-patient flow and patient integration, then move into broader leadership development and organizational structure for dental and orthodontic teams. A practice readiness assessment is also in development for owners who want a clear read on where the gaps sit before committing to a longer engagement.

We'll let you know when these courses launch. No other use of your email.

Leadership Engine: Communication and Team Development Skills for Orthodontic Practice Leaders

Overview

Leadership Engine is for the people running the day in an orthodontic practice. Eight modules cover the conversations leaders tend to avoid, the feedback that actually changes behaviour, how to handle conflict on the team, accountability without resentment, and the habits that build a steady, capable group.

Built on the situations that come up most often in real practices. You will leave with frameworks you can use in the next team huddle, the next one-on-one, and the next difficult conversation.

Modules may also be taken individually.
